I am part-way through reading “Stop Feeding Your Cancer” (Dr John Kelly), who uses the ideas in “The China Study” (Campbell) for his patients. Kelly’s take is that eating less than 5% animal protein (of what tho’ he’s not clear – 5% of total protein, 5% of the total calories?) stops or reverses cancer.
I had read The China Study some time ago, and failed to get this message (which shows the advantage of re-visiting earlier ideas).
With my on-going re-vamping of my own lifestyle data (including back-filling new categories, including now this one) and re-arranging the analysis, I hope to see whether my own variations of animal protein relates to changes in my cancer markers.
